Plan a Romantic Trip for Two
A romantic trip for two is truly a wonderful experience for couples wanting to bring more excitement and adventure into their lives. It also takes you away for a while from all the hassles and frustrations of your work.
But planning for that trip can be as tiring and frustrating. So here are some simple ideas to help you get started on that wonderful, romantic trip for two.
There are actually just a three things to remind yourself whenever you plan for a romantic trip (or any vacation for that matter). It is very easy to remember, TLC. No not Tender Loving Care, but Time, Location and Cost.
Time- This is crucial and very important. We should ask ourselves the following questions:
- When should we take our days off?
- How long will the trip take?
- How long will we stay there?
Taking time off from work is not an easy task especially if you plan on going on a long romantic trip. Both of you should plan this carefully so that all the work that needs to be done are finished on time and you are not flooded by pending work when you get back. Even if it is just an overnight romantic trip, you will still need at least three days off from work. So plan this carefully.
Location- Decide on where you want to go. There are several things you should consider when planning a romantic trip. Are you going local (hotels, outdoor adventure camps, etc) or global (cruise trips, holiday trips abroad, etc.)? Do you want a rural setting or an urban setting? But always, repeat; always consider that this vacation is for the both of you. So think romantic! Women should never forget their sexy lingerie outfits they bought a few days ago and men should remember that by being romantic, it means they should focus only on their partner. Bring those massage oils and aromatherapy incense along!
Cost- This is probably the most important thing to consider. It is not a romantic vacation if you are bankrupt at the end of the day! So plan this carefully. A simple rule of mind: After you have made a grand total of your expenses (daily expenses, meals, hotel cost, etc.), make an additional budget equivalent to half your total cost. This is your extra cash before, during and after the romantic trip. Do not touch this unless absolutely necessary.
There you have it! Call it TLC (time, location and cost). Now you can start planning for that romantic getaway and give your loved one some of your own TLC, Tender Loving Care!
